Dunne's just turned 30 and for a centre half probably at his peak for the next 2 or 3 years.

Lescott turns 28 in August.

Lescott - bought for 22 million plus add ons.

Dunne - sold for 5 million.

City.

forgetting how much cost ( well we are asked to forget how much berbatov cost when discussing about his play ), I certainly would prefer lescott over dunne.

who would prefer dunne over lescott?

Well, going on performances over the past 5 years I'd have to say Dunne.

Although if you have to choose one based solely on their performances this season I'd probably plump for Dunne.

yep, that's the only two possible choices :shakehead:

what the £#%&! kind of united fan would want united to become some princeling's plaything and have a squad filled with mercenaries stopping anyone coming through from the youth/reserve sides? that's not manchester united, you £#%&!wit. i'd sooner have the @#%&!s we have now than turn into another chelsea/city 'product'.

I don't know... i prefer mercenaries like essien, lampard, deco etc to championship players with united up the shit creek.

I am thinking practically. there is no chance in hell of united become the way you want it to. just try to get the next best option then.

honestly i remember seeing your post about praising lescott when he played for everton.

dunne was getting old. so naturally after a poor last year they decided to replace him.
Really??

Maybe when he was playing LB and weighing in with the odd goal, never as a CB, he's shit.

That's what it is all about for you, isn't it? United getting a rich owner to buy all the best players and be the best in the 'EPL'.

Incase you haven't noticed, we're the Champions, and have been for the past 3 years on the trot, City have a long way to go before they can be considered a major force.
