berbatov, giggs, evra, valencia, evans and anderson were all top class today. also thought neville had a top game.


berbatov motm for me.

Berbatov, he was a joy to watch today.

Giggsy for me, with honourable mentions for Berbles, Evans and Evra

giggs for me. a constant danger and the only one with composure when we looked liked bottling in the last 15. closely followed by berbs, who was immense as an attacking force. 3-4 scissor kicks in one game, outrageous

Giggs by a nats pube from Berbatov.

Almost impossible to believe the guy has been playing for the 1st team for so long. Fancy him to tear the vermin several new ones next week.

Evans for me. Bolton is a tough game for a defender and I feared we'd miss Vidic's aerial ability. Evans won pretty much everything in the air and was very solid.

Giggs just ahead of Berbles for me. Wass good to see G Nev have a good game aswell.

yep. his best game since he came back from those torrid 2 weeks, for me.

Berbatov for me, only just. That bicycle kick (that I thought when I was watching had powered the goalkeeper to the back of the net) was football at its very best level. Lovely build up, outrageous cross, and perfect execution.

One of the greatest 'nearly' goals I have ever seen (like Cantona's attempted chip against Chelsea I believe)...

Giggs dribble sending two men, the wrong way, twice.....

Tempted to give it Berbs for those sublime touches and flicks, but Giggs just shades it for sheer industry. Kenny had a blinder again too

tbh frank, twas betwix Bryan Briggs, Berballs Sprog and Mad ****, went for ****.


edit: on another note, Davies was a handful all game, and as regards Ingerlund I reckons he could do the Heskey rollrofl bestist at the mo, are you reading this Mr. Italian guy?

What football is all about, tbh. Exquisite on the eye.

I think Gary Neville proved just why he is still on the payroll. Berbatov was superb also. Good quote from him in UWS about his nerves last season

berbatov by some distance to me. if it was not for some bad finishing and bad luck he could have easily had a couple of assists and a couple of goals.

giggs was good but I thought he was not as effective as in previous matches.

valencia had his best match along with gary neville. its looking great with rafael also back.

The only concern is still the vulnerability in both fullback positions when crosses come in. evra, neville, rafael, o shea all struggle ( o shea due to woeful positioning and general ineptness ).

brown is the only good one in that regards.

all in all it was probably the best 75 mins we have played. its ominous for nani, that valencia is slowly looking good. although he should start using his left foot.

He was, but he didn't do anything wrong, kept it ticking over, a 6/10 performance
