To these people, previous seasons have been memory holed and never happened.

these individuals games are great for the soul no doubt but let’s be honest seasons aren’t judged on games alone but league position and points

and you don’t win trophies for doubles over opponents or whatever

if we end up on the same or less points than last season but we still finish with no trophies that isn’t a success imo

we need to be pushing for more because clearly the side as is can beat the best teams in the league so why aren’t we higher up and competing?! it can’t all just be about transfers, questions need to be asked about the coaching simple as

bro...your bullshit and wum are getting old for sure

you talk out of your ass with so much double talk i'm not sure you even £#%&!ing know what you're saying

Ole set the team up perfectly....the defensive balance was great and was there to see, the counter was good, for the most part surprisingly we were able to pass out of their press and we won 2-0

what £#%&!ing more do you want?

against the lesser teams....players have to step up and perform as that is more about mentality than how the £#%&!ing team is set up

United are not the team we were (the reason why you support United). and the league isn't what it was. We now have oil clubs.

Its progress.

How did you get into United mate?

i don't care what anyone says, we shouldn't be this far behind City

even with the holes in our squad, we clearly have the players at this moment in time to compete against the top teams in the league.

its not just about signings and this performance against City proves it.

really? City take off their right back and bring on an England international we bring on 20 year old with 20 first team appearances.

Our squad is thin and being flogged to death.

exactly, they have an unlimited budget and whatever supplements Pep brought over from Barca and they're not THAT much better than us.

our squad is thin i agree. but its not just a personnel thing, we need to ask question of the coaches too. its only fair imo.

call me all the names you want but both things can be true.

we can have a thin squad, but we also can demand that our team wins away at Brigton, WBA and the like when its clear we have enough there to compete and beat the best teams in the league.

we are not Arsenal ffs.

Players are physically and mentally tired. We can't rotate like City do - just look at the two benches.

Is Mata injured?

If not he should at least have a place on the bench and unless we owe him money if he plays a certain amount of games (board are tight) then is strange why he isn’t involved.

Just won on their turf to end their winning record and continue one of our own with a great team performance. Ole clearly has Pep's number. Enjoy the win for what it is.

Has been injured I believe, did reappear briefly from the bench recently (can’t remember which game, there’s that many, that often it’s a blur ) but has since disappeared again..
