A five-year rebuild

You don't build a new dynasty by taking the mediocre parts of the last one and hoping something gels.

As I said earlier, the overall management of the club lacks any imagination whatsoever.

Moyes (Fergie's mate), LvG ("he used to be good didn't he?") Mou () and now Ole (scored a famous goal).

Two years left on the rebuild though so who knows?

I’m sorry, how long would you expect it to take to turn the club around from the utter shit show it was under Mou?

Murtough and Fletcher haven’t been in their roles 12 months yet have they?

He has the required UEFA pro-license.

I was certain it would take 5 to 10 years after Moyes tbf. Mou set us back further. But fine.

A club that can only buy 1-2 first team players a season and needed to change over half the squad should be able to sort themselves out in under 5 years. Cool.

Bit weird how United's best form under Ole came straight after taking over the "utter shit show"?

Didnt Tuchel take Chelsea from the bottom half of the league to winning the champions league in half a season?

Yeah but Chelsea should have given Lampard at least 5 years to see if he actually knew how to manage properly.

Short sighted from big Roman there. Can't believe he didn't fancy flushing hundreds of millions down the shitter.

So did Roberto Di Matteo They had also just spent £300m sorting the squad out prior to his arrival, so not comparable positions tbh.

Are we really going to get into a comparison on this? Both actively £#%&!ed the squad (with no little assistance from the powers that be). United’s squad when Ole arrived and Chelsea’s squad when Tuchel arrived are incomparable in terms of quality and depth and you know it.

Haven't we spent £470m under Ole?
