Coaching set up needs a shake? Definitely, So let's get all nostalgic and hire an admittedly successful coach we had 10 years ago but whose last club job amounted to winning one out of eight games for the mighty Kerala Blasters.

This was my reaction too. We need new ideas (well new to our coaching staff anyway) not look back. Surprised no-one hasn't suggested Fergie for a couple of days a week.

Solskjaer’s whole tenure has been build on nostalgia and looking back. From getting Phelan in, all the way to re signing Ronaldo.

The guy wouldn't park in a certain place at Carrington because that was "The bosses" spot...

No mate. We aren't building another "dynasty" so you can forget about that. The Ferguson era of us winning 13 titles in 25 years has long gone and it's not coming back.

Not going to happen, but I'm willing to get angry about it anyway.

It’s all getting very boring isn’t it? experts with no £#%&!ing idea what’s going on behind the scenes. We’re at year 3 in a 5 year rebuild..

Year 9 in a 9 year re-build pal. And tbh, we’ve needed re-building since 2009 so make that year 11 in an 11 year re-build. That’s what’s pissing people off - that familiar feeling of sliding back into mediocrity and irrelevance after an encouraging start. That’s what’s getting really £#%&!ing boring.

Don’t disagree with that. Harsh to blame Ole for anything pre-summer 2019 though tbh.

Honestly think the person that employed Mourinho should be strung up on the forecourt as a warning to future generations.

And employed Moyes

Also who ever gave van Gaal free reign on signings which ultimately set us back years

Etc, etc

If Rene does come back it’s basically the higher ups admitting that Woodward completely £#%&!ed up the initial transition…. Which he did.

Same bloke. Mou was the heinous crime though.

Seem to recall everyone agreeing that Moyes £#%&!ing off all of Fergie’s back room staff was utterly mental

Tbf, I can definitely see how this appointment would help the #OleOut movement, NQAT.

Can't believe the Moubuggers bagging "nostalgia". All that @#%&! ever gave us was nostalgia for the golden age of £#%&!ing Chelsea.

Yet that reads like a behind the scenes ITK point.

Well, it’s the 3rd season of Ole being manager, hence the ‘year 3’ and completely rebuilding the squad and club was always going to take some time, 5 years seems reasonable. Pretty sure 5 years as a rebuild period was mentioned early doors too.
