Gonna be like when Van Gaal first took over and his methods had them all £#%&!ing injured and we ended up playing Donald Lurrrrve, Coma Face and Tyler Blackett.

I’d rather watch him destroying players in training than actual matches involving the shit@#%&!s.

He's already watching training videos from Ole's time in charge.

Thought I’d try and get up to speed and get to know the man by reading his wiki. Wish I hadn’t. Why does he move on after a year at most places?

“ Under Rangnick's tenure, New York Red Bulls won the Supporters Shield in 2013, 2015, 2018, while Red Bull Bragantino gained promotion to Série A in 2020”

THE Supporters Shield? Oh yes.

He suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome.

But basically it looks like he was a relatively unsuccessful manager prior to getting the job at Hoffenheim where they worked their way up from the 4th tier (backed by a billionaire). Moved to Schalke, but was too tired to be a manager so spent 8 years with Red Bull where he built his reputation up as Director of Football and occasionally taking over as manager until they could find someone who didn't get knackered all the time.

In the last 15 years he's spent 5 years at one club, 6 months at another, 8 years at a drinks company, 4 months in Russia and had a year off.
