If he’d been found guilty of those offences in any proper European country he’d be looking at jail without question

Suspect if the appeal goes to some proper high court in Greece rather than the local kangaroo court they have there then he’ll be acquitted of all charges especially with the extra time to prepare a proper case however mud sticks

Don't think so, that might be one reason the sentence is suspended.

Interesting take from the policeman's lawyer. Basically says he completely fabricated the part about the Albanians and the date rate drug and should hang his slab in shame. Surely they'd have taken her to a hospital to get checked out/tested and have some photographic evidence of where she was injected.
