It’s the best argument for an esl that doesn’t involve shit clubs like Chelsea city PSG and Newcastle.

Anyway, it’s fooked and there’s no reverse mechanism. A fan owned model is by far the best route to saving the game but no one, including fans is that arsed.

The Saudi's offer to buy Manchester United in 2019 was turned down by the Glazer's because Man U has become their primary cash cow to pay off their debts back in America.

(Their commercial real estate company has been swimming in debt since they got tied up with over leveraged mortgages with Leyman brothers back in the 2008 crash)

Smart move on the Premier Leagues part though!

They're transforming the league into the strongest in the world, and the American owners pushing for a super league just got kicked in the nuts.

Right... and that's why clubs that can go out and buy a team ( Man City, Chelsea and PSG) are beginning to dominate European football.

United is only a wealthy club because its previous decades of success on the pitch turned it into a worldwide commercial powerhouse, when that success dries up, so to will the wealth.

you don't need success any more to be wealthy. The TV deals have seen to that.
