Doesn't work like that though does it?

It's never as simple as looking at the difficulty of the fixtures.

The closer they get, the nerves will likely kick in. Every game will come with a big weight attached to it.

West ham and Leicester took points off them because they looked nervous. They're not difficult fixtures on paper either.

Then there's injuries, games following champions league games, luck, circumstance etc to consider.

As shit as Everton have been this season, I don't think this will be a stroll. They're not firing away from home and this is the most they've had riding on a Mersey derby in 30 years.

I think theyll win, but a draw wouldn't surprise me.

Is there any point in watching the merseyside derby?

It's the same thing every time.

Everton get hyped up, play the occasion rather than the game and end up losing, probably while down to 10.

What the £#%&! are everton hoping to achieve here?

no striker on the pitch, they look an absolute disorganised rabble.

Are their tactics to just shout at the ref every time he gives a foul against them?

Checked Sky Sports text commentary to see if there’s any point tuning in...

EVERTON 0-0 LIVERPOOL

HT: Liverpool playing all the attacking football but Everton are holding firm. Salah missed the key chance after breaking through on goal - a solid save by Pickford. This game looks here for the taking for the visitors - can they find the required quality? See you in 15.
Nah.

Not a surprise .

Liverpool really struggling away.

2 wins from 6 in the league. Failed to score in 3 of their last 4.
