If a player dives with his arms in the air to block a shot, it will usually be penalised... but he's not trying to block it with his hands.

It's rightly given because his hands don't need to be there.... but it isn't deliberate and the law says deliberate.
Then it shouldn't be given.

Anyway, United

Innnncorrect. If his arms are in the air it’s to make himself as big as possible and stop it with any part of his body. Therefore deliberate and a penalty. If in an unnatural posiiton then it’s handball.

Ground out the last few wins, which you always need to do in the run in.

He is, but he’s £#%&!ing annoying screams in ecstasy every time the ball is passed forward inthe final third talks absolute shite as well.

Bale is absolutely finished there. They’re going to have to flog him on the cheap imo.

I don't think so. It's just recklessly throwing the body and not considering where the arms are.

It's stupid, but players don't deliberately handle the ball unless they think they can get away with it or it's stopping an inevitable goal.

What about a player covering their face in the wall? That's not deliberate, nor is it a natural position .

It's simple: intention is irrelevant and merely clouds it. Could the player have avoided it? If so, it should be a penalty .

Considering intention just seems daft. Same with reckless challenges, fouls, own goals.... who cares what they MEANT to do? It's what they did that matters and could they have avoided doing it.

A bit harsh if a player is covering his nuts at a fk and then the ball is blasted right there, onto his hands.

I think that's ok because his arms aren't away from his body.
