That's all very well them deciding that but they still won't be able to play games until it's safe to do so. Unless it's a 1 on 1 game with social distancing adhered to.

Again it doesnt actually say anything concrete about returning, just a proposition. I think if they keep pushing this, in light of the current situation, people are going to start getting their backs up and the government will intervene and tell them to stop talking %@#$&!s about a game of football.

A final acknowledgement that the football authorities see the actual supporters in the ground as completely unnecessary.

And what happens when, inevitably, half an entire team has to self isolate because someone at the club has it?

Said as much the other day. It's all well and good until that happens. Hopefully its Liverpool. Imagine playing the kids and losing every game.

Well football was always going to resume behind closed doors

In fact I don't think we'll see matches in full stadiums this year

Ambulance cover too for any bad injuries draining NHS capacity.

Morally objectionable restarting in any way imo

They could get 20 thousand at Old Trafford with adequate distancing. Free masks and hand sanitiser at key points.

It’s going to happen, better just accept it.

We’re at the peak now, and tbf they could probably be playing it now behind closed doors without much impact.

There’s loads of professions been allowed to continue where social distancing isn’t always practical
