The Premier League have said that the 3 teams relegated last season (and Forest and Burnley) can sue Everton for compo

"Have you been involved in a relegation that wasn't your fault?"

Text LOSERS to 3007

As city were regular relegation fodder before the oil money came along, does that mean that every team that have been relegated since can sue them

Where does it end because they've affected every teams positions and prize money with their cheating?

Hopefully never. If they were sued into oblivion I think that would be a suitable punishment and end to an absolute joke of a club. Might also put any one else off doing similar.

This is a huge can of worms to open.

And it is further proof that City will never answer for their crimes. Because if they are found guilty of those 115 charges, it basically negates every Premier League since the oil money took over.
It might take years for this claim (Everton) to be fully completed. Citys would take decades. The PL brand would be forever tarnished. A Super League would be welcomed by many to replace it.
And for those reasons, City will never be punished. Everton are merely whipping boys.

On a pro rata basis City will be deducted 1,150 points

Sickening but realistic.

Loads of articles going up now discussing City’s charges, which is only good news imo. Hopefully more people start calling it out.

I think that’s the biggest positive from today. That which it seemed not permitted to be talked about, will have to form part of the discussion now.

Martin Samuel will have a puff piece in The Times tomorrow assuring us that city’s case is very different to Everton’s, and that city are not guilty and we should be proud of them for what they have achieved.

Maybe the PL were aware of the possibility that this gave them leverage to do ciddy. Precedent etc

Can of worms doesn’t begin to describe…

Precisely. He’s a disgusting corruptible fat £#%&!ing whale @#%&!. Doesn’t his son work within a city affiliated company?

The whole thing is bent as £#%&! - I’m surprised people still watch it - it’ll end up like scripted pro wrestling at this rate.

Having read a little about it, it seems a bit harsh. They had £200m of sponsorships that were cancelled because of the Ukraine war.
