he probably only has a couple more years of being as effective as he has been over the previous 5 years. i think he will become a drogba-type centre forward and play well into his 30s though.

not at the top top level. he will be a good solid player until hes about 32/33 but at that messi level hes only got 2 more years tops.

Thanks for clearing that up

As much as his game is about his pace, which he will inevitably start to lose, I think he has more than 2 years.

And what a 2 years that would, I would pay the £55m just to have him back alongside RvP for 1 season.

Fwiw I believe he has more than two seasons left in him at the top level. The man is a finally tuned football machine.

I don't think either of them use any kind of performance enhancing drug for the record.
I'm only saying this to annoy the Ronaldo fanboys ..but I make a valid point as usual.
