Ruud's a quality striker, but still misses more than he scores! Don't think United's goal tally has suffered without him and the football has been better, though that's obviously not just down to him not being there.

This is his first full year in the first team. Your saying he's shit because he's had injuries in the past

Well that's one that I just don't understand.

How anyone can love Jose is beyond me.

cheers for that youtube TheNew - hadn't seen his goal from the weekend!

class finish...

thing is though, he gets away with not having that half a yard he used to have in spain, in the prem the defenders are so much tighter!

great goal though, and he will always be a united great!

That's not his fault though is it? He also agreed to play through the pain barrier at Utd's request and the injury ended up more serious hence the operation. That finally cleared the problem.

I don't think he's had a serious injury for over 12months now. Touch wood. But he'll still get labelled sick note even if he doesn't spend another lengthy spell on the sidelines again.

We haven't replaced the striker who left, yet you still get some #@&%!s who think it'll be piss easy for us push Louis to one side and replace him with someone world class. You know, world class like Torres.

With Saha we're playing good football, top of the league and in the knock out of the European Cup. But because he doesn't walk over to the fans with the expression of "what can I do?" after, he himself, has had a £#%&! game, he's a @#%&!*

*Ruud.

That's a little harsh I think.

Anyway, glad he's signed, been a great players for us so far. But we desperately need another top quality striker.

Dutch kid in the Summer. Mark my words. Either him or Klose.

The Lad from Ajax? I hear good things about him and his record in Holland has been excellent.

I think United should always have a couple of Dutch players

Saha deserves the new contract, been in the team for most of the year, played well and has stayed clear of injuries.

As for Ruud, watched the game at the weekend were he scored the winner and bar the goal he was anonymous, handful of touches all game. Some will say that is his job, as long as he scores it is ok, but that is the same trap we fell into, trying to play everything to one man, and if he had an off day we were toothless.

I rate him. We need options and a different kind of striking option too. Either one would do me.

Something about Klose I just can't stand tho. Patent leather slip ons if you ask me. Huntelaar looks pretty good, not great. Rossi for me. We're hardly £#%&!in lethal in the air just now and we're top scorers so let's give this kid his head and see where it takes us. Dong as well for that matter.
