Manchester City have dropped their asking price for 30-year-old midfielder Samir Nasri, who is being shunned by team-mates on the club's pre-season tour because of his arrogance, from £21m to £10m. (Times - subscription required)

One insider told Sportsmail: 'The squad don't understand why Nasri is even here. He is very unpopular due to his arrogant attitude. Some of the squad even want him to go back to Manchester.'

He also got dropped from the French national side for being a total snide and none of the other players wanting him there. By all accounts a vile individual.
