Our marvellous police can still find time to arrest people for doing the square root of £#%&! all, though.

Scandalous, but not in the least surprising.

And the PL/FA unilaterally calling last weekend's fixtures off, despite being under *no* actual official pressure to do so, remains a decision so ridiculously craven as to almost defy description.

Load of shite. Our fixture pile-up is going to be horrendous.

No reason for last weekend's matches to be cancelled.

It's insane. We've had the royals aren't actually powerful argument on here but is this not indicative of their actual power? Their influence? They passed no law yet the biggest sport in the world shut down.

Would love to blame the Windsors for this but I reckon it’s the FA and Dibble who have concocted this shitshow

Again, they didn't press for last week's games to be scrapped - if you doubt this, look at all the other sports that still went ahead.

Its was entirely the football authorities own (abysmal) decision.

That's what soft power is.

The premier league genuflected. That is supreme power.

You can buy land in the usa and own it forever. You can't do that in the uk. Why is that?

England v Germany at Wembley. God Save the King belted out, followed by 90 minutes of WW2 songs. It's what she would have wanted.

They have probably made the situation worse . It will only rile up fans. If it’s an issue of police, just play behind closed doors or 50% capacity . The fixture pile up will get very silly . Our players are in 4 competitions (most will be in 5 if you could the WC) .

What a £#%&!ing surprise. Eton boys get to play football while the plebs are told to shut up.

United v Leeds off

Brighton v palace off

Here’s a thought…..why not rearrange the palace v United game that was cancelled last weekend for this Sunday?

I appreciate it would require the FA to actually think outside the box, but it could be done

Obviously it won’t

It feels like they've completely lost control over the fixtures now. Absolutely all over the place.
