I’d like to see him play centrally with Martial both have quick feet and good movement.

Not sure we are going to change our entire formation and tactics because he is failing to have an impact. He will likely find it even harder playing in a central role.

Sounds like they’d be better suited to Strictly Come Dancing tbh

Let's be perfectly honest here - if he was as good as we thought, City Liverpool or Chelsea would have been in for him as well as they all hanker after players who can play that role effectively.

If he doesn't settle in soon and start showing more of what we thought we were getting - goals, assists, and an ability to run at defences - then he's probably going to go down as another Woodward/Ole dud. He sort of gets a pass up until this season due to the absoltute turmoil we've been in in terms of a manager... but there's not really any excuses now.

Antony is far from the finished product but has shown more in his first few games than Sancho in 2 seasons....

But City, Liverpool and City weren’t in for him, so £#%&! him.

Don't think this is true. Liverpool had peak Mane & Salah so why would they be interested. City likewise with Sterling at 25, Mahrez still late 20s, B Silva playing wide and Foden coming through. Chelsea were playing with full backs for the width then, not using wingers. Wouldn't see that as reflection on Sancho per se.

Sancho was very, very highly rated. Broke into jingoistic England side while playing abroad. He was basically a 1-in-2 man from the wide positions at age 20 in Germany .. rare. Problem with him here is he just ... looks ... so ... slow. Its so fundamental that its hard to see him overcoming it in this league, even if he has got a few more goals this season. Tidy but doesn't look a £70 mil player.

Jesus Christ don't put him in the middle, he can't beat a man on the wing ...

Saying “if they were any good, x would be in for them” is always a terrible argument. Several of the players you’ve listed there were hardly europes most covered stars.

Salah has been the best striker in this league for the last five years alongside Harry Kane. Nobody wanted him when he was at Roma. Mane, Firmino, Son. Plenty of clubs are after Lukaku when he’s available. Doesn’t mean he’s not shit.

Was he this slow in Germany? Never watched him there, awful league, but saw tweets of him with tidy finishes now and then, stats looked good, and assumed everyone was right about how good he was

He’s actually painful to watch at times recently, even his penalty shout was in slow motion

“ Jadon Sancho dribbles a bit like a veteran rapper when they elongate or compress the syllables of words to stay on beat. He applies loads of different textures and touches to the ball with his feet and you wonder "How did your mind put that together?"

Sanka has deleted this tweet now unfortunately.
