Did Arsenal not try signing him when he left Blackburn? Seem to remember them being in the reckoning at the time

What worries me about Fonte is that he's never looked very good to me anyway. Would have to be a concern.
Same. Don't want Font at all.

I don't like the 'e'. Huge part of why I don't want him tbh.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones were absent as Manchester United trained ahead of their clash with Feyenoord on Thursday night.

Mkhitaryan is struggling with a thigh problem, while the reason behind Jones's absence is not yet clear.

What, he's still not available? I'm so shocked that I had previously forgotten he even existed, tbh

Big year for him this year. Can't see him lasting another full season without proving he's the reincarnation of Duncan Edwards.

Ferguson's signings in his last 3 years post Ronaldo

Antonio Valencia
Michael Owen
Gabriel Obertan
Mame Biram Diouf
Anders Lindegaard
Bebe
Marnik Vermijl
Javier Hernandez
Chris Smalling
Ashley Young
David De Gea
Phil Jones
Wilfried Zaha
Alex Buttner
Angelo Henrique
Robin Van Persie
Sean Goss
Shiji Kagawa
Nick Powell

That's £163m spent mostly on utter dross. How much of it was spent on players who actually turned out to be any £#%&!ing use to us? Hernandez, Van Persie and De Gea, what's that about £45m? - the rest have all been varying levels of shit, ranging from semi-useful shit like Valencia and Smalling to non-existent shit like Powell and Zaha.

And people wonder why the £#%&!ing squad needed £300m worth of £#%&!ing players buying to compete with City who have been stockpiling the likes of Aguero, Silva and the like.

Getting a bit into Wes Brown territory. Will probably still have a decent career, but must be taking its toll.

Speaking of Wes, he's joining Blackburn apparently.

Wes was also more likeable and better than Jones
