The way to do achieve anything against teams like Liverpool and City is to withstand the first wave of pressing. if you can do that then you'll usually only have the two centre backs between you and the goal such is the way they all push so far up the pitch.

But that's the key, it's incredible to watch seasoned professional footballers, paid upwards of 30k a week, panic when put under the most basic pressing. It's so simple yet so few teams can actually cope with it despite all those silly %@#$&!s passing drills they do pre-match in those little squares.
