Got a bit of a bee in your bonnet about Wayne haven't you?

Yup, not since Boxing Day - that's ages by his standards, admittedly

It's just Throb's way of preparing for when we sell Rooney this summer for a lot of money and don't replace him. He can say "I told you months ago we didn't need him" etc.

Would like to give Kaggers, Ando, Nani and Vidic a full 90 ahead of the dippers, come through it well and they should start next week aswell.

DDG

Jones
Smalling
Vidic
Buttner

Scholes
Anderson
Powell

Nani
Welbeck

Unfortunately it probably will happen.

"Every club knows we have a lot of money from the sale, we won't be paying silly prices" etc. Ring a bell?

Linders should probably get a game. You don't want your number two going ages without a first-team game in the event he is needed at some point.

United wouldn't make much if any profit on Rooney imho - basically I doubt he'd fetch more than a 28 year old RvP fetched last summer

No point selling, he's worth more to United by staying. Just hope the manager is able to leave him out when others are in better shape and/or form and that the player acts professionally when that happens, gets in and stays in top shape and fights for his place...

is there any value in that though if the defensive line is changed as well?

RvP's price was determined by his contract length though tbf.

Some. Not ideal; as you suggest, it's best for the goalkeeper and back four to work together and have an understanding, etc. But I think rust and nerves build up for a keeper if they don't play for more than a few weeks.

Fergie's gonna pick a side to deal with Wham's set plays isn't he, so I expect Jones as well as 4 defenders to be in the starting line-up. Not sure either keeper will be tuned in to what will probably happen. I'd still keep De Gea in though otherwise he won't have played for a fortnight come Vermin time.

United are notoriously easy to haggle down though, cus everyone knows they very rarely sell players who they want to keep...

That's true. I'd got used to a game every 3 days, but that's finished now.
