Question I

Presume that is Shannon Matthews, hard to pick up in the hole I reckon. Good at making entries into the box etc.

but Dunc was the only player Sir Bob said he felt inferior to (may be paraphrasing slightly) - farcical he's not in this make believe team

I have always felt that neutrals/ABUs don't really believe/respect what Sir Bobby and others say about Dunc. They feel it is exaggerated in respect for the lost, etc. Unpalatable but there it is. The lack of footage obviously doesn't help. Not many alive today saw him play.

of course law should be there, but swings and roundabouts - neville shouldn't and not sure about giggs. don't have any replacements* but as much as I rate him I can't believe gary neville is the British right back to ever play the game.

scousers will be raging by the way. only one in the team.

personally I would have throught keegan would have been in with a shout. from his hamburg days obviously

*edit - would maybe have Jim Baxter for Giggs

i think neville is a shoe-in tbh, doesn't get half the credit he deserves for being one of the top three players in the world in his position for most of his career.

This.

A much underrated player, probably because he's United and such a gobshite

in an attempt to please all. they've overlooked

Gordon Banks
Duncan Edwards
Tom Finney
Denis Law
Jimmy Greaves

Bobby Moore was hugely overrated and tbh, I'd leave Giggs and Dalglish out.

Both should be in there imo, as far as British players I've ever seen play Giggs would walk it in that position.
