Maguire is the least of our problems right now. I bet he wishes he'd never left Leicester though, every time he sees Lingard scurrying about in front of him like a jack russell in a school playground at playtime.

Trust he'll be getting the same level of abuse our other injured players enjoy?

Now would be a decent time for Axel to actually be fit for a game or 2..

Have to agree, hasn't he played some Europa League matches too? As much as I hate Jones and Rojo is a liability they should have been given some chances to stay match fit and rest Maguire who like it or not is the best defender we have in the squad.

Letting him play on in that game against wolves has proven to be a total masterstroke.

He played every minute of 11 games between Dec 1st and Jan 4th. Pretty sure he's played every England game too this season.

Like when we let The Scottish Player play on for a whole 45 minutes despite doing serious damage to his ligaments after about 2 minutes of the Newcastle game

Injury management under Ole has been pretty amateurish tbh

Don't we have fitness and conditioning staff that advise on these types of things?

You mentioned Rashford and on top of England he has played in Europa, FA and League Cup. For a player that relies on sprinting it's asking for trouble but we are stretched so thin as a squad that there is no-one who can come in, James is already blowing, Martial has been injured and if the likes of Lingard and Mata are useless then god knows what replaces them further down the squad.
