For those saying sell him; who is going to pay him £350k a week?

Madrid and Barca are both sorted (and broke). Inter wont be flashing the cash now that their owners are looking to pull out.

The best bet is Juve but it's hard to see them giving him such a salary unless we very heavily reduced the transfer fee.

Like it or not, he's here for a while.

Imagine getting over a million pounds a month and your boss saying go and have a few weeks off. What a £#%&!ing life.

Maybe they struck up some sort of deal where he isn't getting paid for the month? It seems utterly bizarre that we'd give someone £1.4m whilst they're not even training.

Romero is a better keeper.

A mere fraction of what we've given to Phil Jones dear boy.

I suspect the fact he's already beyond minted will really allow him to decide if he wants to go back to Madrid. He's got a kid, his Mrs there and it's home. They'll still be able to pay him £200k a week or something & he'll probably get a tax dodge out of it. Feels like a natural time to depart tbh, if the possibility of getting Varane exists in a swap I'd be all over it like a rash.

Didn't realise he lived in Miles Platting I'd stupidly assumed that he lived in a house worth millions in one of the most affluent parts of the country

I wonder if he will stay on his line when he's having a kick about with his kid in a few years?

Be nice to have a bit of a presence in net.

Not sure a new keeper will be a priority in the summer

i love him, proper goal keeper he is

okay he’s better on the ball than De Gea but i don’t care about that, he commands his box, comes out for crosses and is a pretty decent shot stopper, that’s £#%&!ing goalkeeping for me

i’ll have him as number 1 all day long, he really wants it too, loves the club you really
can’t go wrong.

no point gambling on a someone else who might end up being as bad as Kepa or something when we have Hendo on our books
