IMO the club only delayed to try and slyly avoid Conte, except that turned out to be pretty transparent.

They have made initial contacts with a coach and staff that can't move mid season, so it was always going to be ole till the summer...

If it was 2-1 yesterday, 10 m n excuses would roll out, the last two goals forced their hands...

It's why we have an interim TILL the summer, as stated by the club.
