No surprise but the football authorities had cast iron evidence of their cheating and couldn't make it stick, so they'll never be brought to account.

Indeed, and now this one will be quietly closed and forgotten about and another will appear in its place

They literally just signed a sponsorship deal the other week with a hotel firm based in Abu Dhabi, who’s owned by the government.

It’s a load of %@#$&!s

Any sponsorship linked to any government, no matter how gentle, should be outlawed.

And Sky taking over United was deemed to be bad for the game

One day, hopefully soon, they will be punished for all this.

If we’re going to be competitive over the longer term we’re going to need huge funding, and I don’t mean scared money.

Why it that a total 'nothing surprises me with you people'. As in politics, as in football, tory greed and envy along with a broken moral compass really is a truly awful way to lead your life

I completely agree with you that football has lost its way.

It leaves fans with a decision to make on whether we’d rather be competitive with money coming from sources we may not agree with.

Or try and compete as best we can on an uneven pitch.

It'd certainly be better than the money going to sources we don't agree with, like it is now.
