Spare a thought for this absolute belm this morning...

Travelled from the US just to see Ronaldo v Villa a fortnight ago. Didn't play and now he's left the club

He'll probably declare himself a Porto or Al-Bin Buddy FC ultra after the World Cup mind.

If Portugal win it (can't see it myself) then he'd be daft not too.
He'll do 6 months at a club in Spain/ Portugal and then £#%&! off over to America imo.

Got a sneaking feeling this will be the case myself. There’ll be no CL club beating down his door, and he’s on the bench anywhere he goes. Not sure his Ego can take it. Score and set a record in the WC, hoping he wins it to complete the set and ride off into the sunset. Imo.

People wanting Nkunku: he’s not a no.9 by any stretch. Get Osimhen AND Nkunku

His ego won’t let him retire. He won’t go out on this ‘low’.

I fear there are no highs left for him.

The low of captaining his country at the World Cup? Some low that…

Bet he wishes he’d gone after Sheriff Tiraspol.

He won’t want to go out on such poor personal form. He talked about playing til he’s 40 to his old pal Piers.

I'm sure he'd like to play until he's 50 but unless he playing for free he's not got too many options at the top level. We were the last mugs willing to pay half a million a week.

I think he’ll find somewhere. He’ll take a big hit on wages and end up at some middling CL team.

Bruno: "Cristiano has always been an inspiration to me and it was a dream come true playing with him for me but nothing lasts forever. It was good while it lasted. Now he has taken a decision with his life. Every decision has to be respected, whether we agree or not."

He’ll be a lot better without him. He usually is.
