Klopp will hopefully think it was the usual late Liverpool comeback we’ve seen over the last few seasons and keep heading down the same path, but in reality it was Newcastle playing like they were 3-0 up for much of the game as soon as Van Dijk was sent off.

I think they’ll be in contention for CL football come may (depending how they deal with the europa) but that’s more down to other teams not being very good.

Newcastle looked shite and Howe made some absolute brain farts of substations. The champions league will ruin them imo and Howe will be gone soon enough.

As horrible as it is to see Liverpool win, and to win like that, it didn't feel half as bad knowing how spectacularly Howe, his tight t-shirt and Newcastle £#%&!ed up.

TBH i’m questioning my own mindset because i’ve been able to laugh at them too. Think they’re absolute £#%&!ers.

Called it during the CL qualification celebrations

Howe gone in 18 months and that Neanderthal left back would be exposed in Europe just like the ratmunchers walked past him twice yesterday

must admit that when I watched him be motm for wigan against bournemouth a few years ago... at centre back... I thought he looked quite good, but I never envisaged him as a left back in the cl. why do they even play him at lb? it's £#%&!ing nonsense. maybe eddie howe doesn't really remember that tie so well.

Yesterday was Klopp’s 11th consecutive win against Howe as a manager. 5 as Newcastle manager, 6 as Bournemouth. A record for and managerial head to head in the Premier League.
