Recorded this on a whim and have been watching it in bits. It is footage of a train journey along the "Ghan" a 3,000 klick (as we Vietnam veterans say) train journey from Adelaide to Darwin in Australia. It is sooo relaxing:

Basic summary - this woman was a mother of four children. She was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease after her children were born so the disease passed onto them. All four of them would die in their early childhood. The youngest - who had the longest life - was a boy named Mattie who became a best selling writer of poetry and essays advocating for peace at a time when war was unfolding. He appeared on the big talk shows like Larry King and Oprah, met Jimmy Carter and continued to be active and engaged until his death. He died before his 14th birthday but made a big impact in his life. Amazing spirit.

I'd never seen this in full before. Would have loved for Moyes and Fergie to have done the same.
