Great start, and looked like he was going to be a brilliant signing over that first season. Seemed to lose that confidence and explosive pace after the leg-break, and was never the same player.
Should have moved him on a lot earlier than we did, and the fact he gave up the 7 shirt showed he never had the mental strength for a club like United. He personified the drop in standards at the club after 2009. Nice fella, but not United quality IMO. |
