England haven't had a top quality keeper since David Seaman.

Even then, the back up was the likes of Flowers and Martyn, both better than anything they have now.

What is it with him and smashing goal kicks 100 yards down the field straight to the other keeper?

Well the thing is with him is that all we know is that he's brilliant with his feet. We have no idea really how good he is at goalkeeping because he never has any £#%&!ing saves to make due to his team having 70% of the ball every £#%&!ing game.

Having said that he seems to be prone to as many clangers as any other keeper.

He's beaten far too easily, far too regularly. Not necessarily howlers, but plenty of 'should have done better' moments.

He's been far more exposed this season.

Anyway, back on topic.... pickford is crap. Poor man's Hart. Who is also crap.

A peak Martyn would walk into today's England side.

There's mistakes and there's letting a 35 yard free kick go straight in the net in a world cup QF and then staggering around your net like a drunken orang-utan - pony tail swishing in the wind.

Good result that.

If West Ham can get something it will be a great night.

Every top keeper has made a mistake that bad or worse in their career.
