If he leaves to Chelsea it’s embarrassing beyond belief. Probably one of the worst transfer sagas in recent history if it happens.

This Romero guy could just be bullshitting as it looks more likely he will stay. But even the most positive of people can’t turn around and be happy with the club if he ends up at Chelsea
If he goes to Chelsea then ETH has found out exactly what he’s signed up for. There’s no rebuild, there’s no change in the process and clearing out the various deadheads towards the top ultimately meant nothing.

Looking forward to all the protests and pitch invasions. Way more interesting than the football.

Should have lumped on Chelsea 14-1 in June. Had this written all over it since Bohly went out there. Barca take Alonso &/or Azpicueta ... Chelsea get shiny new toy for their new Ken Bates era. As big a clown as he is Murtough couldn’t negotiate his way into a circus

Awful bastards. Players must be wondering whether it's worth going in future if they're going to pull shit like this to write off their contracts and £#%&! them off.

Can't wait for them to implode.

Chelsea have the following midfielders in their match day squad last week.
Jorginho, kante , Conor Gallagher , kovacic.

and still have billy gilmour (plays ahead of our Scottish clown in midfield for the national team)

and they are most likely gonna sign de Jong.

thats 6 players and they only play 2 in their 3-4-3 formation.

Should take the two young lads off their hands.

Yeah, almost as if FDJ is a statement signing by the new owner. Who cares if he fits?

kovacic and Gallagher sitting with eriksen as a 3rd man with a free role in that midfield.

and we get one half decent forward and we'd get top 4 imo.

Gilmour hasn't got a squad number so that's 5. Gallagher a bit more attacking? But we should in all seriousness be looking to take one of Kovacic/Jorginho/Kante. We won't because ppl will think its 'embarassing' but there's probably a very decent chance those 3 players are better than FDJ anyway.

Kante is on huge money, is 31, and has only made 20-odd league starts for each of the past three seasons.

Jorginho is about as quick as Juan Mata, with about the same level of physical strength. No thanks.

Defensive midfielders DONT need to be quick. Also deep lying midfielder.

some positions don’t require speed or “passion” ffs
Was carrick quick when he played as a deep lying mf?
when matic was at his peak at Chelsea he wasn’t quick either.
makele as well.

if you want a real quick athletes there’s. Scottish lad in our squad Scott. Quick and robust how is that working out for us?

Kante made 42 appearances & Jorginho 47 for a side that made 2 Cup finals, the quarters in Europe (should have got past Madrid) and finished almost 20 pts ahead of us in the league while winning the European Cup previous season. Yea, nothing to offer to us with McFred in the middle. You carry on
