At corners, all opposing players must be at least a trombone’s length away from the defending goalkeeper, with the goalie having to ensure the rule is adhered to with a trombone that is kept at the back of the goal. An extended trombones length or a contracted one?

Fans should be permitted to brick players and managers off the pitch if their team loses by more than six goals.

If a player on the attacking team returns the ball to his keeper within three passes of a corner then that player has to assemble flat-pack furniture on the side of the pitch

Also should be allowed to do the sad trombone noise if an opposition player blazes a pen over the bar.

Keeper’s choice.

Regulation sized trombones only, obviously.

Introduction of the channel four Countdown clock for VAR decisions, where whoever is doing the VAR only has those 30 seconds to hit the button and make their decision, or be ejected from their seat like from a jet fighter, with the crowd doing one of those “woooahh, you’re $#*! aaaahh!” chants like they used to do for goal kicks.

Or still do, if they support Crystal Palace.

If a team is winning by three goals or more then the ref blows at 90, no added time.

Game changed to 60 minutes with clock stopped every time the ball is dead.

All deliberate fouls, including snide trips, pulling shirts, to be immediate red card.

Kicking the ball out for a player to get treatment is considered time wasting and is a yellow card. Player gets injured the ref says play on or stops the game, if the ref stops the game it is restarted with a drop ball, failure to contest the drop ball is a yellow card.

Free kicks from any position can be taken as soon as the team wants, no waiting for the ref to walk 10 yards, spray the floor, blow his whistle, book a player nothing. Attacking team sees a chance for an advantage take the free kick and the ref can handle his business next time the game naturally stops.

Offside is offside, no interpretation, if you are in an offside position and the ball is played anywhere within 20 yards of you then you are offside.

FA Cup SF's either played at neutral venues or change the competition & have the SF 2 legged.

UEFA should re-instate the Cup Winners Cup. Totally separate from the CL & Europa shit. Forget the new Europa thing that you have to suck at the Europa league to even enter.
Once you're out, you're out. And no-one drops 'down' into the comp from the CL or Europa.
Copy the format of the CL, league then knockout. And it'll be the only bloody comp you have to win summat to enter. Surely that is prestigious enough to promote the competition.

If a keeper takes a goal kick from the opposite side of where the ball went out then he has to take it with his weaker foot

Yellow card = 10 minute sin bin
Due to the energy crisis, ban undersoil heating and make teams play with a yellow ball on snow
League cup = English players only

Countdown clock not withstanding, there should definitely be a time limit on VAR. If you can't decide in 30 seconds it wasn't clear and obvious so ref's decision stands.
