Default Ethan Laird - Going to Watford on Loan

Imminently.

Decent move if he's going to play. I would assume that would mean a contract extension..

Doesn't mean AWB is staying though. Sell AWB and we'll buy a RB.

Does this really deserve it's own £#%&!ing thread?

John O'Kane joins Everton...

Graeme Tomlinson joins Macc Town...

etc etc. Laird is a no mark. Won't make it. Average young player. Who gives a shit where he is going.

Yes. It’s United related and football news, so is worthy of its own thread.

That’s a pity. I was looking forward to an ‘Ethan Rifles’ headline if he scored a half decent goal.

Got excited when I seen this bumped thinking it was in the next twenty minutes.

Maybe it was nerves. He grew into the game.

Rated very highly by people who probably don’t watch the youth team.

Best game I've seen him play in a while, a long way down the pecking order at left back though ...

Loan

Is he no good then? If Wan Bissaka is gone - and he should be - we’ll be very thin on the ground at RB.

Overhyped because Howson's always banging on about him?

No idea. Today’s the first time I’ve seen him.. looked alright.

The fact he’s going on loan suggests that we’ll be bringing someone in if Wan Bissaka is going?

Played well tbf

I’d rather have him and Dalot as right backs for the season over AWB being anywhere near the team.

I should hope so. He's a right-back.
