One of our best players this season.. There were glimpses last season.

Bruno can do the shooting.

The one things you don’t want to hear from Fred when you’ve got a free kick in a great position in the last minutes of a tie you’re losing.

“I’ve got this one lads”

Like him a lot but he looks like he gets shooting coaching from Anderson

Hes one of a few likeable lads in the team purely on his "kahunas" alone. Gets stuck in, scurries around and has the balls to demand an important freekick. Alot of others go hiding- cant say that for Fredders. Would be good to see him in a proper midfield.

Not sure what his critics are expecting. Rivaldo?

He's a combative central midfielder. Positioning good. Fast. Tackes and passes.

What more do you want?

Reminds me of a young cougar. Without a dead man's knees though.

Not losing as many tackles. Not losing the ball when he's in possession. Passing to a team mate. A shot on target.

Still. Can't fault his effort.

Loses barely any tackles. Midfielders are going to give the ball away sometimes. His passing looks really good.

His free kick was on target.

Not sure what standard you're judging him against?

Top class midfielders.

Loses lots of 50/50's. He's always wanting to put his foot on the ball when he just needs to pass it first time. His passes over 5 yards are effective. Most longer or potentially positive passes go straight to the opposition. "On target"

So Fred is better or as good as the players in his mould you can think of.

Only Kante more effective. And not by much.

He’s the only one who can hold his head up. All over the pitch, all the time.
