Default Welcome Moyesy

Much as we all respect the job you did at Everton, if we're being honest, I think it's fair to say you weren't the man most of us wanted to replace the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson; you are, however, the man all of us will support, because we're Man United and that's what we do.

Frankly, Moyesy, you've never had to deal with the level of pressure you're going to face from your very first day at United: more than a century of history and tradition, of great managers and great players, painful tragedy and glorious triumph; the world's media watching your every move, waiting for you to make just one little slip; hundreds of millions of fans in every corner of the globe scrutinising each decision you make, fans who aren't content for the club just to win, but expect those wins to come playing the 'United way'.

No, it's not going to be easy, Moyesy, that's for damn sure. There will be some very difficult moments. Moments where you wonder why you assumed such a heavy burden; why you didn't stay at a lesser club: respected, admired, comfortable. But we know that deep, deep down you expect better of yourself. We know that there's a well of untold strength inside you, waiting to be drawn on. In short, we know that you're a winner. You wouldn't be in this position if you weren't. And if we work together, United as one, there's no limit to what we can achieve. So strap yourself in, Moyesy, because we're in for a hell of a ride.

Welcome to the biggest football club in the world.

People have to rememeber he's walking into a job where the team hasn't had a cohesive, settled midfield unit for about 5 years.

If Giggs and Scholes go into coaching as touted today, Fletch doesn't return and we sell one out of Ando/Clev, then we can definitely see a couple of CMs coming in and a worldie winger. If Moyes is given money there is a pretty high chance we'll at least be better to watch than in recent years.

Any more of that and you're banned. That's not how we operate round here. Think on.
