It's either a push for Sancho, paper speculation because we're talking to Madrid (for Reguilon) or Woodward being Woodward.

The last one can never be ruled out..,.

I’d go for this but I can see Dortmund really taking the piss next summer. Selling him for a lower fee than what we’d offer. Plus Sancho may not want anything to do with us.

Both clubs have acted like @#%&!s nqat

Madrid will pay half his wage, we'll pay a £10mil loan fee and £300k a week for this season.

Its cheaper than sancho.

I've never liked him but I think he'd be a great addition for a year regardless of the cost. What we miss most is someone who can create something out of nothing and he's certainly capable of doing that and even at his age he'd still be one of the best players in the league.

spurs are said to have jumped ahead of us in the pecking order for a return loan to the PL if Bale makes that choice

Not a chance. They'd struggle to pay his golf club fees, never mind 300K a week.

I can see the logic in signing him but again smacks of no imagination. If Sancho isn't happening then £#%&! him off and put the effort into signing an alternative who is going to grow with the team.

Taking Bale for a season then going through this whole charade with Sancho next year is just a bad idea.

I'd prefer we bought someone like Sarr from Watford than got Bale on loan tbh.

this type of move would have been fine say 2 or 3 years ago....i just think it's now a bit more of a desperate move b/c the guy has barely played any football in the past 18 months so we could just end up wiht another Sanchez for 12months paying massive wages

He'll go for the free juice bar they have. We probably make players pay for water.

Despite coming out against any potential loan move earlier today the Spanish media outlets are reporting that Gareth Bale has agreed to provisionally join Manchester United on loan this summer.

Deportes Cuatro say United and Real Madrid still need to come to an arrangement over the Welshman’s wages as Bale is unwilling to take a pay cut to return to England.

Bale in any kind of decent form could be a game changer.

What kind of game changer? A league/CL game changer. Could be huge imo.

Either way - he's better than James.

Would be a decent bit of business if it's a loan deal.

It’s a no brainer if we can get him on a decent deal for a year.
