Why the £#%&! has this thread got 121 posts? Was Anderson's goal really that good? Not read the thread but heard he scored. Thats nearly 2 in 2 months, somebody stop him.

It was actually, had the lot, apart from a penalty, red card or streaker.

Good game though.

Question

stream kept packing in for me so couldn't watch it. where was anderson playing? was it in his usual deeper role or was he given a more attacking role behind the attack?

the more i see of anderson the more i think he's not cut out for the deep/holding role but needs to be playing in the opposition's half with a more defensive-minded player supporting him.

Why shouldn't it have? What's the problem with a bunch of United fans talking about the young players coming through at the club? Should we be talking shite about Frankie and Benny's or slagging every player we can instead?

He wasn't playing a fixed role really, the midfielders interchanged positions with one or two dgoing forward and one or two dropping in to cover.

I thought it was a cracking game.
Anderson looked very good as did Fabio.
Brandy looks like hes come on leaps and bounds, really close control and rapid.
Josh King also looks decent, can't believe hes norwegian.
Eikrem looks a good talent and its the first time I've watched James properly and he looks the business.

Lots to look forward to of this bunch

Yeah it is Dean Gorre's son. Dean Gorre was assistant boss at Southampton last season but his son is at Utd.

Also Cofie is from Burnley and thats where we signed him from. Mrs mate's son played up front with him for Burnley's junior teams.
