Personally found him to be better than both Fred and The Scottish Player most of the (admittedly very few) times he played for us. I can clearly remember there being games where Fred in particular was absolutely atrocious, and occasionally VdB would start the next game (probably because it was an FA cup game) and he’d put in a solid performance. Nothing special but noticeably better than some of our other “midfielders”. But like you say, he’d never be given a run of games and it is baffling really.

Hope he does well, the way he was treated here was just weird.

Now then…

If ETH doesn’t pick him. You know he is a waste of space and not a deal of “he needs his chance and a run to prove himself”

Don't think Haggers is starting til the summer mate. The loan will have to run its course... not going well for him as it is but hey. Least he's got a second chance at United now.
