We need about 6 new players, but 3 are an absolute priority this summer:

Striker - a proper number 9
Midfield - legs, mobile - de Jong type
Keeper - commanding, solid and good with the ball at their feet

He was always a very good shot stopper. But you need two more key competencies - distribution and command of your penalty area. He's not improved at either, beyond toughening up a bit from the first few months, all while mistakes have crept into his game more over the last few years.

Money saving opportunity for the squad budget here.

Makes a few saves every game of shots that are straight at him and people use that to justify his place in the side. Baffling. He’s absolutely shit at at least 70% of the duties of a modern keeper.
