Bloke who posted it on Twitter (not the guy in the video) is loving the attention.

What did Gervais say in After Life? People would rather be famous for being shit than not be famous.

imagine doing that to your hero. £#%&!ing £#%&!er. Gazza is and always as been beyond help purely down the fact that people will always prefer to see him in this state.

Unfortunately alcoholics are beyond help when they get to that state. My sister in law is 36 and full blown alky. Been trying for 5 years to help her. Been in hospital 6 times getting fluid drained due to liver failure, lost 2 marriages, countless jobs, been arrested 3 times this year. Continues to drink and denies she's an alcoholic. Last Thursday morning I was called out of work to pick her up from Tesco's toilets where she'd collapsed after drinking a bottle of mouthwash. Be surprised if she lasts the year.

That’s real sad Hema. Some people are beyond help and as sad as it is you have to let go and support those around that person. Women like your SIL die all the time.

Poor sod. People saying “if he doesn’t want to help himself” £#%&!ing idiots. Alcoholism is a disease.

Used to love the daft bastard tbh.

He’s had more than any other ex player. They have thrown money at getting him well but he is constitutionally incapable of grasping any type of recovery program. He needs sectioning for his own good.

Don’t know the details tbh, pal. Just pretty tragic, whatever.

You wouldn’t let a dog suffer like that. He needs sectioning.

Its probably a simple case of it being nearly impossible to get him and the 3 medical professionals required for a sectioning in the same room at the same time.
Ridiculous really

Couldn't give a £#%&! tbh. Had exactly the same with my own dad. Chance after chance, constantly feeling sorry for themselves, false promises, destroying families etc, but don't really ever want to change deep down, then eventually they die.
Sooner he dies the better.

Don't think that even sectioning will do him much good now.
