TEAM NEWS

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has confirmed Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw will not feature.

Michael Carrick is also absent and defender Jonny Evans is a doubt, but Angel Di Maria, Robin van Persie and Marcos Rojo are available again.

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck won't face his former club after he was ruled out with a knee injury.

However, midfielder Aaron Ramsey should feature despite only returning to training on Friday after a knock.

Shit on a stick

Camera pans in on young kid in a jester hat holding up a home made cardboard sign saying " don't go de gea"

Players do an ill deserved " lap of honour" with their children alongside them.....when did this shit become acceptable ?

The game will be so dull the crowd will revert to singing about bygone heroes and slagging off slippy

0-1 arsenal

I blame Denis wise

He took his kid up the wembley steps when Chelsea won the FA cup, it's been downhill from there

I begrudge applauding the players unless they've won a trophy, I'm certainly not going to applaud some little @#%&!s who will never know what it's like to live on beans on toast until the next pay day*

* my kids haven't either

I worked with a bloke whose mam £#%&!ed off on xmas day, no electric on the meter; he cooked his younger brother beans on a camp stove in the back yard.

Turned out he played for United as a kid, talked about the young monsters Mark Hughes, Norman Whiteside et al.

Makes you think.

A win takes us third and we need to claw back some goal difference too so 5-1 United.
