United bringing Cantona masks on Saturday?

Imagine we started singing songs about Munich?

Double standards. Utter £#%&!ers

Joking aside, there will be trouble if MU fans don't understand the sensitivities. Masks are inflammatory

The problem lies in Man United fans who don't realise that the Eric Cantona incident resulted in the death of an innocent football fan

@eaamalyon who the guy who was kicked?

Ed Malyon ‏@eaamalyon 7 hrs
@Andrew_Ewing no, Paul Nixon. April 5, 1995

The bloke was run over following a fight in Walsall, the day of the cup semi at Villa Park. 3 months or so after Cantona booted the racist cockney £#%&!er.

Palace fans now claiming that the bloke was 'murdered' and that it's insensitive for Utd fans to chant Cantona's name, wear masks etc.

The even more thick and mental ones are also claiming that the pro-Utd media and dibble somehow covered it up.

I don't know much about it but I know that Walsall is nearly half an hour north of Villa Park.

Surely the only Palace fans that had bothered to travel past the ground were looking for trouble.

Perhaps it's an overly simplistic view. But it's hard to understand why they were there if it wasn't for a fight.

I've lost count of the times I've been somewhere nearby for a drink before an away game. It's not beyond the realms of possibility they decided to have a booze in Walsall pre-match, just a shame a coach of United has the same plan and their paths crossed.

From memory I think both groups contained both lads and barmies, but neither group had a pre-arranged meet - things just kicked off and there was a tragic accident. Nobody was murdered despite #@&%!heads on twitter trying to suggest so.

Hope it's not those ones from Looking for Eric that look like Eric after he's been poisoned with tetrachlorodibenzodioxin.
