what game were you watching?! berbs is class and keeps possession in a way ando, fletch and the rest can only dream about. carrick keeps possession too. I'm all for it. wouldn't back either of them to score, mind. carrick was excellent last week.

can't believe people are still picking fletch, ando or park after recent fergie-induced debacles.

de gea

jones - smalling - vidic - evra

valencia - carrick - cleverley

nani - rooney - young

bench: berbs, owen, cheech, welbeck, fabio

Carrick hasn't started a league game this season has he ? He's still in the doghouse from the CL final.

Need to get a settled defence - Smalling & Vidic in the centre looks the best bet. Having Rio for the odd game here and there is £#%&!ing us up.

Defensive midfield and try not to concede. Anderson can £#%&! off.

Evra
Valencia
Carrick
Cleverley
Anderson
Nani
Rooney

Carrick sitting with the other two given license to support the attack and get into the box. Young is another player whose form has dropped off in recent game, and although it is not ideal Nani goes to the left and Valencia comes in. Valencia looked a little more like himself at Aldershot, and despite it not proving much his defensive solidity with Baines a threat will be valuable.

Evra should be dropped but Fabio has struggled to show the form he did at the end of last season, and his habit of picking up an injury means that he is a risk.

I like the cut of your jib, jabbers. There's no chance he'll play that team though.

both nani and young have struggled recently because we've lacked any threat through the middle, making our play too predictable: shut the wide areas down and you stop united. with cleverley back and three in the middle i wouldn't be surprised to see the wingers suddenly look in form again.

I'd agree with that apart from one thing.

With two in the middle and two up front they've had even more space to play with.
