We have to keep de Gea.

Lindelof wouldn’t get a look in if Bailly was dependable.

Wan B is what he is. You can’t expect too much from him.

This is my thought. You fix one or two other more important issues and we're never talking about De Gea.

Not sure that’s true tbh. Unless you think we can realistically prevent him facing any shots or coming under any pressure at all, no set pieces or anything? We restricted Everton to 4 attempts last night and they scored 3, I think Sheffield United had 2 from 3... too many sides score with their first attack/attempt. Set Pieces; crowd the keeper and drop the ball near him and we’re £#%&!ed.

New keeper, new CB and new DM, imo.

Yep.

Fingers crossed this Diallo kid is the real deal meaning we don’t have to spend millions on a RW.

DeGea needs to be sold and let him move back to Spain. Henderson should take over the starting role and we figure out who will be the back up.

he's just hurt us too many times over the past two seasons with just daft decisions and inability to deal with the physical piece which is still amazing considering how long he's been in the premier league

Thumbs down

For the first time in his United career, I feel he is costing us points. I've defended him in the past, and he's come through bad spells, but yesterday he was a disgrace, and cost us 2 goals.

So weak-wristed on their first goal, and an absolute @#%&! on their third.

Needs dropping, NQAT.

First time? We drew with Everton at OT last season because of similarly shithouse performance from him. He's cost us countless times over this season and the previous 2. He's gone. Get rid.

If Henderson does well in the cup then he should keep his place,

Henderson is abit Joe Hart esque for my liking, very up for it all the time. Bit cringe but it's time for a run in the team for him

Might be good for De Gea long term either here or somewhere else.

This is the perfect time to put him there and keep him there. He was always going to play this week anyway. Then we’ve got West Brom - that’s one where you would expect he won’t have that much to do.

De Gea got the nod this season, but the threat of Henderson was always there. He’s not a number two, he’s a young keeper who has been brought back to compete as number one. Like Telles coming in at left back has done for Shaw, it should have been the catalyst for de gea to kick on. He hasn’t. And it’s not form. This stretches back two years and he was very lucky to retain his place at the back end of last season and he’s done nothing this season to convince anyone that he’ll put it right. It’s time to make the change and it’s fallen quite perfectly. I’m not at all convinced Henderson is the answer, but de gea certainly isn’t anymore.
