Yep he was better technically. Robbo was a force of nature though. Absolutely phenomenal player that could get the better of his opponent any way they wanted to play the game.

Asked if he was a manager he said he'd pick Lampard over Scholes as he'll give goals and assists and would define matches and if he was paying to watch a player he'd pick Gerrard over Scholes too.

He did admit Scholes was his favourite to play with over them other two even if he seemingly is incapable of assisting, scoring goals and defining games and clearly isn't as easy on the eye and the greatest Liverpool player of all time who never won a league medal.
