An absolute tanking.....

I’d be shocked if both Palace and Newcastle won. Palace were probably the worst team in the league after it resumed - they just can’t score goals - and Newcastle have been getting walloped by lower league teams in friendlies ahead of the opener.

Might be a stretch in terms of quality, but these first few weeks are the absolute worst time to play a promoted side. They’re still on a crest of confidence and reality has yet to set in.
