True. It’s always nice to hear the opinion of someone who seriously suggested stockpiling tap water a couple of years ago, on billion dollar business deals etc

I'm at a stage now mate where we know Qatar haven't got the money they say they have OR the Glazers just won't sell to them. If SJR can come in and improve the infrastructure, transfers and help us not go bankrupt, I'm willing to give him a chance. What else can we do?

I’m expecting a few gimmicky appointments/signings but nothing of significance will change.

It’s whether apathy trumps anger in fans response.

I think most fans will just shrug their shoulders and accept the continued decline.

The only real danger is when the glazers clash with Ratcliffe. If ratcliffe has been given full sporting control there are possibilities that a “business” element of the club will clash and then what happens.

However , we can only wait and see what happens. As of this moment, Ratcliffe has been reportedly given full sporting control and is bringing in a proper structure with experience people at the helm.

Of course this doesn’t guarantee success but we can only hope that it works. By all means slag the dual ownership off in 3-4 years time if it’s obvious there are clashes or he is just someone keeping the glazers in power till they sell for 10 billion.

Right now , we may as well be optimistic because the other choice will just make you go “ well what’s the point?”

What do you expect 'the fans' to do?

Only an extended period of a half empty stadium would do anything, and that's not going to happen. We've had the largest protests the PL has seen including the abandonment ('postponement') of the biggest game in the calendar. Nothing will happen

Why are you so sure it will be a continued decline?

Our owners are talentless bloodsuckers - at least their dad, loathsome specimen that he was, had some basic business acumen. The idea that someone like SJR will become their "patsy" is just fashionable doomscrolling. It is, if anything, more likely to be the other way round.

It could well be that the only way to get rid of the gimps is through stealth - they would rather burn the club down than do a full sale.

Anyway, we should all be willing to give him a chance.

Also wants a new stadium because they don't like how it looks on streams/Fifa

This isn't Manchester United.

It's a rotting corpse of Glazer FC.

And I have no problem in wishing Glazer FC the results necessary to get our old club back.

Look mate, in all honesty, to call them all talentless is not right. Talented @#%&!s is more like it. Had I known you could borrow the coin to buy the club and load the debt on it …….well maybe some of us would

They got it at no cost to them whatsoever. They are creaming dividends at no cost to them whatsoever. They’ve been able to waI’ve the Sheik off because there is a patsy willing to prop them up and plug all the gaps …, plus, re structure the sporting side, their major failure, at his own cost.

Pretty talentless eh?

The proof will be on whether this local lad made good, this mega business head, has built in assurance’s that the Glazers will £#%&!ing do one the more successful he makes the sporting side.

Do you think those hard headed @#%&!s will given heir track record to date?

…..or do you think Jim Gummidge, who loves us so much but didn’t think of buying us and loading the the debt on the club himself is the business head we think he is?

It’s being reported he’s paid them £33 a share as it is, well over the price.

A full sale was possible if no takers but Jim’s vanity shit out, and did this instead of keeping a poker face and watching the gimps collapse.

Who knows, we’re all in the dark, but for all of us it should be deeds not words from this point regardless of who the newcomers are

I can’t get excited about anything unless it involves the Glazers leaving.

It’s utterly ridiculous that Manchester United have owners who don’t want to put any money in so we are relying on someone coming in for 25% to give us a boost.

Why would he need to go to protests when he’s been on one long protest since 2005?

Seems an odd thing to have a go at him about. Didn’t you say recently that you only don’t go because you couldn’t afford to?

Bellers, are you bored? Seriously, it's just weird at this stage.

"Yeah, I agree pal "

Bellers: "But in 2007, didn't you say you DIDNT agree?! Then, iirc, in 2014, you said...and i qoute.."

If someone wants to walk out, sit in, get on the field etc, I'm not going to sneer at what their doing whilst staying away.
