I get that football is a game of opinions, but I truly cannot fathom how someone could look at our squad/team and conclude that a defensive midfielder is even close to being the priority that right sided forward is.

I think we are pretty weak in that area and it will be exploited. Matic also has about 10 games in him before he starts looking 80, so would like to see at least some kind of backup.

We need Sancho. If he's not going to play Bailly we need another quick CB. DM yes but can't Garner be promoted to be Matic's understudy?

Williams should be starting over Shaw.

Doesn't need a huge amount to challenge imo.

Garner is going out on loan next season I think..

I'd sell Shaw and get a cheaper back up in for Williams. Sell:

Lingard
'Andreas'
Jones
Sanchez
Linda or Bailly (love Bailly but he's absolutley unreliable injury wise.)
Mata

And bring in a new CB whos reliable, strong and quick. A new DM and 2 new attack minded midfielders.

Also wouldn't be too gutted if we cashed in on Dave and brought in Henderson

We'll probably keep all of the above and just bring in Grealish though.
