As if Mourinho gave Smalling a five contract

It’s all the club and Woodward’s doing that one.

His agent is probably drafting a ‘must play in centre midfield’ clause

Him and Fellaini leaving would be momentous.

Bring back Fosu from loan and promote some youth midfielder to replace afroman.

Surprised we’re looking to sell “one of the nicest men in football” and club captain mid season, no matter how shit he’s become...

it doesn't make me happy that people slag off a very solid player who has actually made a half-decent job of converting to right back (to the extent he has been called the best in the league) and who always battles for the shirt. he has had his adventurous spirit beaten out of him by successive managers and injury, but anyone who actually expresses joy if he leaves (particularly when he is still our best option at right back and can play in other positions), should be ashamed of themselves.

Agree with Jem solid and dependable but Manchester United requires some skill and flair on top.classic example of someone who struggles once the pace has diminished.

He was £#%&!ing shocking at Newcastle. One of the worst individual performances I've ever seen.
