Ahead of Ronaldo tbf. Not sure if that strengthens or weakens the point tbh

The way Arsenal brushed off Napoli was a concern. I'm comfortable saying Koulibaly is a lot better than Jones mind.

Not really seen him play but he looks a tough @#%&!. If he's decent enough with the ball at his feet (ie not Smalling Mk II) then it's a yes from me.

Along with alderweireld, would probably be the best signings we could make at centre back.

It’s a little concerning that the club are being linked with the same players we were linked with prior to ole getting the job. Smacks of the same shit transfer policy we’ve had for 6 years. Here was me thinking woodward objected to mourinho wanting to spend fortunes on older players.

Another Jones ffs

He’s decent on the ball in Italy, Napoli used to play out from the back through him under Sarri.

However, it remains to be seen if he could do the same over here given the high press a lot of teams employ. Easy enough to stroke it around languidly in Serie A, a different proposition on the PL when you’ve got attackers on you in seconds

Was going to ask how Napoli play and if they play the same now as when under Sarri?

Is this guy good on the ball?

I was confused with the varying reports on his height. First thought he was a giant at 6’5 but apparently he’s more 6’2?

Oh he can play boy..

Also wouldn't mind a defender who can deal with Mbappe like this.

What’s a united player? Berg, May, Jordi cruyff? Dong? Kleberson? Ole himself?

If Maguire isn’t a united player neither were Bruce or pallister.

We've needed a mature centre back for years. Only problem is that the PL is £#%&!ing brutal these days and older, less elastic lads might end up in the injury room alongside younger, stupider lads like Bailly and Jones.

He's the best (possibly)attainable CB we can get this window. Even if the price isnt right, if the attitude, commitment and talent is- its moving in the right direction.

How attainable is a player with a £130m buy-out clause & a club president that's the Italian Daniel Levy?

With no CL, and 25% wage cuts, would the player want to take on the terms offered?

I think he'd be excellent, but it looks bastard expensive.

Toby for £25m seems like our level.

It was said in mock desperation at our current situation. Youre not too old to have missed that?
